I have an old sketch and I would like to colorize it. But I don't know how to do it. I've realized that I can never do it as fine as you ppl can. My hands are shaking and I don't even have money to buy Photoshop or other tools.
Anyone who wanna help me?? |

zafar: no need to be down on yourself, at least not untill you've tried. Failure can be the first step of succesion (I know from experience ). Post up the pic, color it, post the colored pic, and we'll try to help you out.
Good luck!

Wow you sketched that? kickass!
Actually you can just start with coloring the scan right away, no need to clear up lines. Just add another layer and do the basic coloring, if that's done you can dodge and burn to create some colordepth easy
After that, just play with the sketch (first) layer, copy it and change the blending mode (multiply, screen etc)
Can't miss, since the sketch is pretty clear.
Good luck

It's easy for you to say! As I mentioned before I don't have Photoshop. It costs about 10 000 SEK, in Sweden. Can you please do that for me?? I promise to give my CD full with mp3 to anyone who can help to colorize this sketch for me. Just tell what sort of music you like and I promisse to give you that CD. |

Hey, I'll try to color it for you later when I have time. I don't want anything though, I think it would be fun, and good pratice at the same time. If you need it colored really quickly maybe you should go to a pro, but I'll give it a shot.

Zafar: Try out Paint Shop Pro, it's shareware and offers about the same funtionality as Photoshop. |
