Just an illustration on a basis japanese theme, I did some research to make an image between 3D an traditionnal japanese art.

hi xavier, nice compostion which makes the pic very dynamic. the only thing i can mention is maybe the fog/smoke-like thingy around, it looks somehow pretty flat to me, i think its supposed to be done intentionally? im sorry, cant really read any japanese traditional artistic element except the characters on the left corner  otherwise its a very powerful piece! (btw,have seen some of your work over CGTALK,really impressive!)

The concept is rad. I'm partial to the clouds though, on one hand, I think they're cool and adds a unique element/breakpoint to the overall feel, on the other hand, I'd have to agree with what has been said.
