Hello
i use a plextor plexwriter 48/24/48A and currently FUJIFILM 700MB CD-R's
the problem is, that almost every time i get an error message when finishing the hole burning process. The message is from my burning program NERO which was in the package.
When i try again .... no problem no error message.
Ill burn at speed of 8 or higher . Cds are for 1 up to 24 speed.
Any idea?
Thx

Consider an alternative to Nero (although I don't use Nero, I hear it's very reliable). I use Musicmatch for burning, and I've never had a misfire. Make sure you're not running any other processes. _________________ - Tom Carter

if the problem is wasting blank cd's, then why dont you test-burn, before you actually burn.
also..
do speed tests (you can do those with nero), to approximate the read speeds of your hardware (hdd, cd roms..)
its best to put your burner on a seperate ide than your hdd and cdrom.
if you want to burn the contents of a cd, its best to first make an image of the cd and then burn it off the hdd. |

everything checked. the last 4 burns didnt cause any problems.
Maybe the cds itselve cause the problem. i will change the label! |
