Hi guys and girls!
Just wanted a little help. I'm quite new to digi. art, so I always seem to get the cartoonish look (Wich I don't want).
Could someone please stop to help me with either links to some usefull help or help me with your own experience.
Paintovers are more than welcome!
It's the sky that worries me the most.

thats a pretty good image to start with. I would have to say to look at the tutorials of other artists. To start, you should use a big brush and work your way to a smaller -- not with a small one and work big.
For the sky take a look at: http://www.optidigit.com/stevens/cloudtut.html
Im not good either but thats the only thing that comes to mind _________________ Chaplin |

Hi Mangesan.
I did a fast (~45min) smudge excersise on it in PS7. It's not well defined (especially the growth to the left), the coloring is off (left/right water reflection), the growth closest to us is littered with gray (because I dabbled too much with the reflection from the mountain chain), etc.
