So, I've been sitting here infront of the computer for a few years now.
Been finding my own paths through others, on how to do surten things conserning digital art.
Sometimes you just ask yourself, how does other artists do this.
I just came up with such a question and I'd be more then happy to get some povs and ideas on it.
here goes.
When you'r sitting down with a nice little ref-photo infront of you and you'r about to start the works.
What do "you' do.
Do you sample stages of coulors from the ref itself.
or do you browse the colour schemes?
I find this as a rather sweet weapon of choice.
imo, when sampling colours from the ref you give more knowledge and time to put up the image quicker then if you were not to. Working and thinking more about shapes and your way of becoming a friend with the tools you use?
though if you were to collect and browse colours manually you would get a better sence of finding, mixing and understanding colour itself. Giving the (actuall job it really is to set up a colour scheme) more time and effort. Which will give you the benefit of learning your personal way of seeing and seeting up colour scheme for a project? _________________ Fru Tina Kttet |
