Can you provide links to work of traditional paintings? My favorite style is impasto. Why? Simple strokes with simple directions. Can you give me some tips? Sample work? so i can learn more of the medium with Acrylics oils are to expensive.

yes, you can paint in impasto with acrylics just fine. although most people like to thicken the paint with a medium, such as a gel medium.
this is an impasto painting i did awhile back 
no other links for you, but impasto paints generally don't scan too well anyway...

yeah you can use acrylics for anything. simple strokes with simple directions? hmm.
there's stuff called modling paste. it's basically acrylic with chalk so it dries lumpy. if you're using good acrylics thick stuff, you can paint thick. if you plan alittle ahead in advance, you could try building it up with modeling paste before putting in your acrylics, drew struzan and alot of others do that. it's nice and fun.
