[Immortal_Souls]

Hi, I've been working on this image for quite some time now and I've been told my anatomy isnt very good with other images I've done, so I'd like to know what everyone thinks of this pic that I've done below and can I get any guidance to make it much more improved or better looking. My anatomy is pretty crap so yeah, help is really needed, thanx!

This pic is of a Fire God and he is manipulating the fire around his hand and into a crown on his head.

well the overall anatomy isn't horrific or anything, just pretty flat and lifeless in short. i think you've done especially well on his left shoulder with the blue light underneath etc, just try not to use black and whites for dark and light. if you're using dodge and burn tools, don't.... you want lots and lots of varying colours to make it nice and interesting. also with black shading its a bit too high contrast. oh and the fire is okay so far, although it needs more defining and much less yellow/red and more dim orange i think.

perhaps a general tip would just be more free and relaxed with the shading and drawing, mix it around, smudge some colours up and see what looks good etc.
