there are so many real artists in this forum. The pictures inspired me to try out something with digital-art. Since I'm just a beginner and these are my very first digital pictures, I would be gateful if anyone of you could give me some hints how to improve (which programs should i try out, which tools should i use, ...)
The first picture was made in Corel ArtDabbler, with photo reference.
The second picture: pencil/fineliner on paper, scanned, coloured in Photoshop7.

I dont think I could help improve them but I think you did very well with the first one.
