I just can't make this two guys shake their hands. Is anyone encounting the same problem or is just me? Or do I have to go back to Win98?
If you have any idea on how I should overcome this problem, please speak now!

Hey Bizarde.

I had a quick look for topics on Google Groups:
scanjet + 3300 + XP

It seems that the included drivers don't work. There's a 50Meg XP driver on HP's website, but people seem to think that doesn't work either.

Apparently the in-built drivers (i.e., the Windows XP Scanner Wizard) can implement some functionality.

Thanks Ceenda, yeah I know that discussion in the HP forums, I already tried that driver, but same result. I just thought that someone found the cure. But thanks anyway Smile

If you have the hard disk space and want to run Win XP too, you can dual boot.

Unfortunately, I'm more of a hardware sorta person than someone who's into software but luckily, here's a guide.

Thanks Yuri. Sounds interesting the multiple OS, and luckily I have two HD's, but not too much time. Sure it's an option that I should count on.
