I just received a demo disk of the program and haven't spent much time with it, but my question is how do I change/adjust the resolution. Everytime I bring a Max image into Photoshop, goto image size it says that it's at 72dpi. I need like 300dpi. Thanks for any help. _________________ Put a muzzle on her Turkish, before she gets bit. What resolution are you rendering at from max? I have a feeling max doesn't care about DPI, just pixel resolution. Once you have an image in photoshop, you can change the DPI as you please with the resize image function.
so if you want a 4 inch square print at 300 dpi (i find it rare that consumer printers can get close to that resolution... ) then you would render at 1200x1200 pixels in max, then bring that image into photoshop and change the DPI. If it tries to do something like change the image pixel size when you change the DPI, just set the image pixel size back to 1200. and viola.. |

WHENEVER YOU RENDER IN A 3D PROGRAM YOU MUST ALWAYS TRIPLE THE SIZE OF THAT RENDER AS THEY ALWAYS SAVE AT 72 DPI FOR MULTI-MEDIA, NOT 300 DPI FOR PRINT. |

That's interesting. But you should fix that shift or capslock key rather quickly. |
