thats a unique idea...one i would never have the patience to paint....i dont blame ya,, all those chains MUST've taken a life time.
i really like the mood of the background...the colors in it match her so its good you stayed within the same colorscheme...i really like those wings..keep posting!!

very nice! I've been trying to kick myself into painting all sorts of repetitive things too. Ass muscles are truly needed to get those things done. Smile

Shocked wow.

This painting is close to perfect. You've got far to little credit for it so far. Every second spend on this piece have been proven fruitful imo.

Only crit I can come up with is the green skin tones. The green on her skin seems to oppose the other colors in a bad way. I would love to see a paint over where her flesh is strictly flesh toned.

cool piece,
it's a nice design and your choice of colors is very good as well. The wings and chains look very good and i dig the blue tones on her skin as well. So i guess have to disagree with 2Fan. Only crit i can come up with is are the eyes. The colors are nice (weird but nice) but they are to far from eachother and the eye on the left is to far down and to big compared to the one on the right.
But i'm just nitpicking, wonderfull job overall. I truly dig the background colors.

HI fate135,

This image is beautiful, I really like it, it's great.

I like the greens on the skin, but I think you've overdone it on her right arm.

Maybe the black line on her dress (left side of the image) is a bit too hard.

The rest is wonderful, keep spending this amount of time in it and I'll be happy waiting for the next one.

Very beautiful pic. I'm wondering if that strong manga-ish stylization of her face is necessary? I think i could imagine her with more realistic face Twisted Evil but that's just a matter of personal preference, i'm not a manga fan Wink It's definitely worth any second spent on it Cool

r3t is right - about the eyes. Very Happy

The black outline is just fine imo, in fact instead of the green seperating her right arm from the background I think you should have a similar black outline. But that's just a matter of taste.

[I must say that the color of the wings rules!]

I'm kind of lost on the eyes, i can't really see anything wrong with them except a slight slant downwards on the right. I measured the eye size though and those eyes are about 2 pixels off in size, max (on a larger version of this, 4 times the size) They're also less then one eye apart. Confused
