Hey all,
You guys may have seen these over at Eatpoo...So I'll just paste on the crap I wrote.
Well, I consider these finished, as I don't think I have enough patience to go any further with them. That being said, if anyone has constructive criticisms, I might put a little time in tying up the loose ends.
I'm not really satisfied with either of these. I'm still desperately attempting to find my niche. As hard as I try to escape my style, it comes back to bite me right in the ass. The first piece some of you may have seen in the works in progress section, I changed things a bit since it's been there, due to some great suggestions from a few people. Thanks to them all. The second is a character concept I did yesterday, I spent way too long on it, but nevertheless, c'est la vie. I decided to work from limited references, when I used them, I used them just for the bare form, hence, my clothwork on the jacket is a little fuxored.
Tell me whatcha think, blow me away with any harsh comment that comes to mind, hard criticism helps me out alot.
Thanks!

very nice and sharp images,.. one comment,. the shadow on the ground doesn't reflect how it would look, the way you have it represented on the body,.
for example half the scithe's blade is in the shade, but on the ground you have the reflections showing part of the shart also,.. and it apears to be on the wrong side,..
btu maybe my vision might be skewed,. |

Ok, first of all excellent pictures, but you wanted harsh comments. So.... (c&c)
1. pic -
What are the odds of looking straight at the side of the gun? Slim to none, so that's something you should check out in the future.
And the skull on the flag isn't as vibrant as the flag. Needs more shading.
2. pic -
The shadow is wrong, it's inverted or so to speak, you need to fix that.
Other than that, VERY good! _________________ It's not cheating if you put peanut butter on your genitals and let your dog lick it! It's not... IT'S YOUR DOG!! |
