Hello
Can�t give any crits cause I think he looks very cool, I like your speedy self-ports too. :) is it a cardboard texture or is it painted?

I just used photoshop 7. I was quite surprised how 'non-digital' it looked myself, especially since I didn't make any effort. i just used a preset brush. I like that brush  |

nice, it does look very painterly. i dont understand the lighting though, sine you used a very warm color for what seems to be the shadow side of his face. _________________ aliensamurai.deviantart.com |

Ilya: that warm colour is another light source. I perhaps overstated it looking back at the reference pic. In the pic the lighting is typical england overcast sky diffuse/general lighting, highly 'non-directional' but since I toyed with the colours it doesn't necessarily come out that way... Thanks for your input  |
