This is my second time with oils, enjoying them just as much as the digital art. I'd very much appreciate C+C but other than that, what I could improve on for future pictures, seeing as to it'll be hard for me to go back and add/subtract from this one. Should I be using more colours? Painting bigger? I'd really appreciate help, thanks.

hey...got the fingers in there and everything...just joshin'..
yes ..i think you should definately work on a much larger canvas...rather thatn what looks to me like a sketchbook. i ASSUME that you had no reference for this...so i say what i say to the rest looking for answers...first you must draw or paint what you SEE...
its good you are practicing oils, yet i think you should be more worried about structure and anatomy more involving pencil sketches to plan out your work before you color it---as for your piece...more value...lights and darks...study people....sorry, i usually give much better critiques...keep at it _________________ www.andresguzman.com
