this is a study on using both painter and photoshop together.

I think it came out quite well.
I've worked 4.5 hours on it.

Hello

I always work like that too, I throw the picture into Painter, add and throw on some lines then I go back to photoshop and fix some things and then throw it back into Painter, and then back and forth a couple of times.
I like both the programs but I think that there are positive things and negative things about the both programs, kind of crazy actually but I like it that way. Smile
You have got a nice and smooth touch on the girl, I like it. Smile

Keep up the good work
Matthew

tell me what is problem with painter?

I see that your image is not very "complicated" so it would be enough to be painted only in painter.. if it was a manga pic so I should to understand the need of photoshop..

I'm only curious

I know that painter is not perfect

Ohh you mean me? Confused

Well, my previous answer wasnt a complaint about that Painter is so bad, I like both the programs, Painter and Photoshop.
But I have some problems with both of them but it could be a lack of understanding of the programs and not the programs itself.
Painter has a bit too soft brushes and when trying to fix a rough edge brush they are always to rough so the edges turns out to be too edgy ..hmm (hows that spelled anyway?)
So too fix some nice and clear brush strokes I have to bring the picture into Photoshop. hehe, maybe you have a tip how to fix a good rough brush in Painter? Smile

And then of course I misses some of those smooth and great brushes that Painter have and want similar brushes like that in photoshop...hmm, maybe I am rambling, but these programs works great together.
