I have sketched a female demon thingy and need a bit of help with the anatomy.I think the hands look alittle smale and there is something wrong with the legs.Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Make the head a little bit smaller. Something like 4% smaller.
And shorten the legs a lot. Almost one head shorter thats about 20% shorter. Also you can spread the legs apart and turn her right leg so that the knee looks forward. This will give her more character. _________________ Andy`Ba,3D artist

Here I rised the bubs a little bit. And made the changes I was talking about.
I also spread the niples wider. Here is still something wrong with the weapon perspective you will have to correct it.
I hope you don't mind my intervention.

For the most part I agree with Andy. Notice that he changed the feet to align with the twist in the torso?
Anyway, first I would decide if I want my creature to look human, which it does. Second: do you want to keep human proprtions and such. It's all up to you. At times exxagerated proportions look kewler than closer ones, espescially when it comes to monsters and demons. |

GAH @#$(%*&
I wrote quite a bit about what to do to fix this, then accidentally deleted it. So, I'll summarize.
1. Get reference. That should answer your anatomy problems.
2. Pay attention to balance. Her left leg will have to be further to the left to balance her.
3. The hands look like they are far too skinny because of the way that they wrap around the weapon.
Andy, a list for you as well.
1. As stated above, balance! I think you moved the wrong leg.
2. Good leg anatomy.
Syco, you're off to a good start, keep it up. |
