Hello ..
I need help with my paper hehe
I just need to write out the formal elements of this painting and how they help with its presentation.. Basically I have a list.. here it :
> Atmospheric Perspective
> 3D (extension of our world)
> Hues are naturalistic
> Cool Light/Warm shadows
> Huge size
> Medium is oil on canvas
> Realistic
> Good Composition.. keeps eyes moving
Did I miss anything major?

I'm guessing this is by Albert Bierstadt. Hehe, can recognise his awesome painting style a mile off.

In addition I would mention that this pic has a kind of "steelyard" style composition (On either side there are 2 tall masses with one more dominant than the other.) or some remark about the composition. |

Oh thanks I'll add that.
and yep its by Albert Bierstadt This work is displayed in a museum near where I am.. and its just awesome. Its massive size is .

I think you have listet all main elements.
I noticed the cold colorsheme in the sky/on the clouds.
Interesting....?! what is this white stain there on the right upper side of the image? |
