Decided I needed to color something.
Was a real pain in the ass trying to remember what Xanitos' empire looked like exactly.
So again I've hit the point where it feels like there's nothing left to do, when there very well may be. Any C&C appreciated. _________________ den.vvulf |

That's pretty cool. I like the detailing on him. But the building in the background seems too......... flat, or stiff. Like there is no depth to it.
Also the hands are a bit weird, they seem clumped and stubby.
But I like it. I remember watching that cartoon _________________ Whoa, so if I type in here the text will appear in my sig? |

The buildings are off perspectively looking I think... It is probably the eye level that got fudged up a bit though...
looks like it should have been lower because seeing the top of that mid section of the farback building seems weird and something about the building that the monster is on (that ledge) seems to get bigger as it goes back (shadows?)
Also those windows on the far back building seem to get smaller (is it round?) on either side. But it just doesn't appear round or something even with this (and if it was, the closest part of it would perhaps touch the side plane of the face of the building closest to the viewer) Blah just ignore this if it isn't the least helpful in any way :p
Anyhow its wicked overall though.
Love this kinda stuff. _________________ Meep meep |

remember Hudson has one yellow eye (due to a scar magic wound thingy). Oh and I know it's only suggested on the b/w drawing but his sword is a hella longer. Just fyi
I agree with the perspective problems previously pointed out. |

Thank you Xyster21, you brought up a damn fine point.
I started out with him at that angle but then added Xanitos' castle later and completely forgot about the perspective.
And yeah, the window segment is round but I b0rked on that too, good eye.
And thanks for reminding me about the eye/scar egerie.
Still gotta get around to fixing some of those things, but wanted to get an opinion on the new perspective.
Gotta remember to throw in a tail.

Okay, I'm prob jus stupid, but I culdn't figure his legs for ages. I though maybe he had three, or maybe three arms... but then.. I dunno. Really confusing, doesn't read well. Problem is that clothy hanging from his loins obscures his heal, ankle, and it looks like his stomach just goes straight down, then that cloth is a trouser leg and then a foot.
I'm prob the only one who didn't read this image correctly. Don't get me wrong, I think it's really cool. Do some more stuff. Don't FIX problems unless it's like a job for someone. It's better to start again, it's better practice, do another pic incorporating what you leanrt here. Can't wait to see! |
