Before I ask the question I would just like to say Yes I did do a search here and on google but found nothing useful.I need to know how I can use new fonts I have downloaded in Photoshop 6.I have tried puting them in the ....\Adobe\CommonFiles\Fonts folder but they don't seem to be read by PS.Do I have to activate them in PS some how? Also does anyone have any links to good PS font sites - free fonts if posible.

DOH!!!!
take them out of that folder
now goto ur start menu - settings - control panel - fonts
put ur fonts into this and then restart photoshop
hey presto! ur fonts are now available 2 u  |

Bob says.You got that right Bob I need to draw a great big "L" on my forehead.Thanks Bob that is a very easy task - even I should be able to do that. One would hope so anyway. Chers.
