help me...
these are due on wednesday. i am about 50% finished with each of these. this is the same assignment that ari[dr missle] is doing paintings for. please tell me if anything is really wacky is going on.
i despise painting.

Hey man, you're much too hard on yourself. I'm not sure what the assignment is but unless they're asking you to do flower arrangements, I think you're doing alright. |

I agree with Mark. your pictures look really nice. I'd say the first one is nearly finished, maybe you could make a light sourse in the picture: moonlight or something

im just uncomfortable painting. it seems to take me a lot of thinking, plus im more comfortable dealing with pencil or pen...
nearing completion on these two

I know what you mean about being uncomfortable with painting. I sketched all my life and only started painting for real at college. Talk about humble pie! Don't worry though. I'm assuming you're still young (by the fact you're in school) and if you keep it up it will become more natural and more 'you'.
You're obviously very talented and it would be a crime to let painting issues stop you. Remember, if you've mastered structural drawing, you've got most of what you need. |

Hey, they are looking really good already. One thing in the train painting catches my eye... The dark area, opening on the side of the train in the lower right corner of the painting is little bit too dominant and confusing and draws attention too much which propably wasn't your purpose.
