Hey all.
This picture was done for/loosely based upon someone very special....
Character design for my personal project. I might knock back some of the saturated colors to better match the rest of the images. Enjoy.
Resolution was around 3000 (-ish) high.

Nice work! I love the texturing you used in the coloring. Very nicely de-linearizes it. Makes it look much more interesting than an everyday anime/lineart job.
I might look at fixing the eyebrows. It looks like you were giving them an expression, but they look slightly asymmetrical.
Nice job, tho. |

realy nice job ^^ (realy like the colour/shading/textures on it, the pose is pretty neet too... )
but there are a couple things I'd change or fix...
first off.. the headband looks like it was just plupped onto the picture, I think it has something to do with the hair going over top of it not the band itself...
I'd also fix up the hair abit... in the back and around.. add more lines.. I dunno it just looks abit odd to me... doesn't look like hiar... almost like a ripped cloth or something. _________________ `junk |

I want to add that I'm not sure if it's too dark or not. The screen I'm working on at the moment tends to be bright...so it might look off.
Sumaleth> Actually, yeah a little bit. Also a bit of Shirow. _________________ http://www.somniostudios.com |

Nice one - I see both Shirow and Frezzatto influence. But get a more interesting background man! The character sketch rocks. _________________ Francis Tsai

looks cool man, though the black outline around the hair flattens out that section alittle, maybe color it to a dark blue? _________________ |

Hey hey, this looks good man. I like the choices you made with it. The bright/darkness is just right on my screen. Perhaps some things like the hair and lips could've been left without an outline but that's just being picky i guess. _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |

I've had so much feedback on this one compared to much of my other work. Some think nose is off, background boring, background good, hair bad, hair good, too detailed, too busy, not too much detail, cool pose, bad pose, to much black lines, not enough black lines.... ...o_O
Not sure what to do... I'll try to come up with some kind of background I think, plus reworking the hair.
Thanks for your input. _________________ http://www.somniostudios.com |

i laike the drawing, the coloring is nice,, but what worring me is the pose, she i falling a bit,, i think the pose couldt be stronger and more dynamick,
think in a good aktionline,, a point of weight,, try to make a straight line fron her neck to the heel,, if the line is more than 90 degress se is in movement, or in an aktion,, and if she is, then i think the pose is a bit boring, sorry,,_D make it stronger and more powerfull, hope you understand what the hell the im talking about, heheh roger out,, PEACE BORGLINK |

I really like this! The coloring and line quality are pretty sweet! I think everyone's covered the crits and I can't think of anything else right now. Keep up the great work! |
