That top for the background (gradient of black and gray) looks a lil weird... maybe on the dull side. (try different thigns  )
The character seems a bit off balance/ leaning to a side/defying gravity itself.
The flames/fire maybe need more red and possibly a more saturated yellow (in cooperation with that redness that it looks like it is lacking).
Now that I look at it... it is probably because the flames are so high for what it is burning off of... :p
Just for details n such u can add some of that grass on the ground towards the back of the character and have it be burning or on fire (with little bits of bright oranges/dark blacks showing about)
:p I can't explain it too well but if you've ever seen a burning field you might know.
It just needs a little more lovin care to it. 
Just keep working at it and it will get better over time.
I do like the top half up though (the flames lol)
they look pretty good.
The character would too... just correct his stance and correct that blurryness around him a little bit.

ty for comments, but his right leg is smal and in the shape because he steping out of the fire.
I'll fix it up tonight in my free time. |
