after the Columbia disaster, i painted this up out of respect for the fallen astronauts

thats pretty good, theres a little too much noise though
i have a crappy speed painted one of the Columbia in the speed paint thread

i think this is very nice Wink
i'm shocked you haven't gotten more of a response.
you nailed all the forms down near-perfectly and the tones are pretty good as well. the only suggestions i can make are:
1) increase contrast
2) round out the cylindrical forms to add realism
keep up the good work.

cool work man, may wanna change heroes to HEROS.........did you use reference for this? you should post that up to.

I checked the spelling, and Heroes is plural for hero, i already changed it once for that reason. I did use an older Columbia launch pic for refrence but it is in a book. I origionally made a colored version but i liked how it looked it in b&w better. Glad you like it Smile
