hello peeps--well I'm a fantasy-realist artist and have been exploring the comic world which is why i haven't posted much....im trying to develop new styles other than my usual people portraits and people drawings--
this was a practice for body armor mostly and just expanding my horizons with motion and line/comic style---
my question: where can i find some damn good reference for this type of art such as certain comic names ooor certain artists
----------------thanx-----used pencils(prisma-color)

Guess you know the anime model sheets at fineart.sk already?
http://www.fineart.sk/anime/page_01.htm
Maybe this is interesting ... ?

I like the image. The armor however seems to be made of discarded metal
And his chin is weird somehow.
The legs seem strange too ... I don't think it's only the foreshortening.
I guess the perspective doesn't work. Do you know where the eye level is supposed to be? _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

here's some of my references i use, no replacement for the wearing the real thing.
http://www.varmouries.com
one of the largest armor making companies...they have lots of pictures, i find work as great reference.

mainly about upgrades of swords by the company of Angus Trim, like hilt and pommels. but...he also has a few suits of armor that he's made. I want to get myself an Angus Trim blade. So sharp...and pointy.
Museum Replica armour
er...i have a lot more...but ill have to look through all my little links and favorites. im also thinking of getting a suit of full plate, and a nice longsword . hehe...
