i was just doodling around photoshop with some old work i had and came up with this concept. i dont even have a name for her yet but i came up with a title; project genesis.

i used an old poster of Ghost in the Shell chick i found in some game magazine as a reference. i mixed manga and western comic style with digital coloring.

sorry its too small. im linking it from my imagestation. if you guys know any good free webhosting let me know.

I like it. The face is beatiful. However there are a lot of effects that take away from the picture I guess.
Maybe they wouldn't if you'd do some changes. I think especially the skin tones need work but that might just be me.
I'd try to make them look a little bluish.

Did you use the dodge tool? It would be ok then but I'd make the transition from dark to bright softer. Just a little.
The red lights are cool. But where the opacity is low it looks weird because of the color affected by the red light. I'd try to find a color that looks right and draw on top of the image with 100% opacity.

But I think it looks pretty professional already. If you don't agree just leave it like that.
