Okee...it's not particularly exciting, but we might get more pics at a later date. God only knows when.
We went to downtown Vancouver today and took some pictures...(the first one is while we were still in Coquitlam).

My boyfriend runs his own server...maybe that has something to do with it.
We'll probably go to Granville Island next time. That's a better place to take pics.
Socar...nearish CBC, right? _________________ ~Gio

Wee, another geographics thread, about time :p
Nice pics... I dig the fountain...
Those are quite large fore online viewing, and since making a page with thumbs takes little effort with batch processing, i made one for ya... Here, thumbnailed view... |

Are there areas in US that use kilometers instead of miles? |

Decent pictures up there, but they sure as hell wouldn't be chosen as tourism advertisements. They tarnished my vision of the place anyway... the ugly-ass talentless graffiti, the misspelled 'criticized' graffiti, the sloppy garbage and jeans in the barbwires at a train station, the smashed up phone booth, ... and I haven't even been through half the images...
Oh well, so much for wanting to see Vancouver one day... |

In a couple weeks, we'll probably go to a couple of the nicer places like Granville Island and Stanley Park an' stuff. We didn't really have much time this time around, so we just went to places within our range. There's a cool spy shop just up the street from the Church of Scientology.

I used to want to move to Vancouver because of the proximity of the mountains, ocean n stuff. Maybe one day I'll get something up around Whistler but not Vancouver itself. Hmmm.. Metrotown.. hmmm.. Paladium..

depends who you are i think. there is a huge drug and poverty problem here. but if you're among the lucky i guess it could be considered 'world class'.
nice photos, for some reason i really like the one open window (the 'radical' building?) |
