Not sure what hardware we need but this is what we would like to have
A Box (mixer?) that has at least 3 inputs and 4 outputs, 3 of the outputs go right back to the amps and the 4th would carry the 3 other signals the computer for recording.
As it stands we just use a microphone for recording, between me playing Bass and rhythm we produce too much bass for the mic.
Im thinking a small soundboard or mixer is what we need to go directly to the computer where I can manually adjust High, mids, and lows but Im not sure.
Its only going to get worse once I get a bigger better Bass amp.
OH, It has to be CHEAP too... _________________ Kevin Moore

Dunno, I think you could record with a bunch of mics, mic preamps (or built in), and an audio card with a bunch of Ins/Outs.
And that of course is.. Delta! Weeee!!!

It's probably the cheapest professional gear out there, although i can't compare heh.
But my brother used Delta 44 to record his band.. The only thing he didn't have was a bunch of mics and mic preamps, for which you'd need a mixer (expensive sh*t) or some Delta preamp..
Actually, i dont know why i'm saying all this, i don't have knowledge of recording anyway :0 Just search on google for some recording tips.
In any case you'll spend ~$400+ |

I reccomend getting a Midiman Audiophile otherwise get yoself a Audigy 2. cheap.
If you get a mixer, I suggest a Mackie.
Make sure to buy the appropriate software, either Cool Edit, T-Racks, Pro Tools, or Soundforge...one of those...just look at em and see what's more convenient for j00.
