Been working on this since July (slow bastard) but I like how it came out. She is a remake of an earlier work posted two and a half years ago here http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=6889&highlight=
This Version isnt as colorful as the last one but I wanted it that way. The two are characters from a book a friend intends to write some day, at this point in the book the two will soon fall for one another. He is really supposed to be a little younger but male faces are not as easy to me as it is to most of you.
You will have to use you imagination at to what he is pointing at, but he is a ranger so it probable just a path or shelter for the night (where they fall in love?).

NOTE: I cannot take credit for the clouds, that is just a screen shot from a game (can you guess which game?)
Everything else is Poser4, previous work, photo reference (her horse, his horses armor), or just dicking around until it worked.

Some in progress picks http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=31118

*****UPdate****

After not looking at the image for a few days I opened it up this morning and was kinda able to see what some of you were saying about his head, So, perhaps just turning is eyes toward ..... whatever it is he is pointing at will resolve some of the issues....

Shit, I just noticed when I previewed the post I made the changes on the wrong version.... I had a later version than this.....(the pic above this one) but the eyes should still give you an idea of what I was thinking about......

Hello, I thought that I recognized the Characters from somewhere and it was the Wip Section. Smile I believe that you posted in an earlier thread too and gave the tip with using poser mannikins?
The Textures are awesome and also the rest too, but I especially like the textures on the horses and the sword handles.
Good work dude. Smile

very smooth looking, I like it n_n

but just one thing though...you need to define the shadows/shadings a bit more, some area look flat.

btw - does the horses fall for each others too in the book? they seem hot for one another on the picture <wink wink> <nodge nodge> =P

I like it. But I think you're looking for crits, so I'm gonna comment.

I think he is facing the wrong direction. If the horses heads are at the same level, he and she should be at the same level too (unless the horse has a swan's neck) and so he isn't looking at her. At first I thought the eyes were looking to the wrong way, but it's the head.

Also, I think it needs more contrast on shadows, it looks quite flat in some parts.
Look, I made a shitty fast change with PS (just contrast and brightness)
