Hey I have seen these pictures before, you posted them earlier here didnt you? Very nice and cool I especially like the dragon you made.
Remember that you cant link to jpg files from Geocities, the file wont then show.
take it easy

hm, you're right. i'm a first time geocities user, if you haven't noticed. all this long while i've been avoiding it. but after artistnation went down, i found myself in dire need of a new page to upload things to. this is good, though. initiative to get my ass working on a website of my own. ridinghood's on the list, there, anyway. first of 2003, as i said. know of any reliable upload sites so i can showcase art here as well? thanks. |

You can register and submit at deviantart.com and link to the pictures there.
Bout your pic (you can see it if you copy the text instead of the shortcut)
the teeth seem to glow. The eyes don't stand out enough. I think it's weird because the whole image seems dark and the eyes don't.
So I think making everything darker except the eyes won't work.
Maybe there's a way to define the shapes better? I think you shouldn't use so much black. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

i see what you mean around the nose. i'll clean that up a little. the figure itself is supposed to be deeply shrouded in blackness, so i don't want to take much away, if any at all. the teeth, i have to say i disagree. the eyes, i'll darken a little. maybe just a simple shade. when they glow, they looks all super-natural-like.
thanks for the comments. i'll have an edited version uploaded at the same url soon. |
