I just got back from school the other day, where my computer had been running like crap. Any time I try to run anything more intensive than wordpad, it crashes. I know it needs a format, but I lack the confidence in my computer skills to do it myself, plus I'm lazy, so I think "I'll just bring it down to the store and they can do it for me for $30." I'll just use my parents comp at home for a couple days.
So we bring my machine down to the store and they say "sure, we'll do it" and I leave it with them. It turns out the thing had a bad stick of ram, but its under warantee, so they fix it without charge. I get it back in a couple days and go to hook it up and "What the hell... where's all my data??" I call them back and they FORGOT TO BACK IT UP. ARGH.
They were very sorry... but damnit! I lost everything! Sorry doesn't put art back on the computer!

Sorry to hear that but ... you trust your work to some computer repair monkey? You deserve what you get stud.
And learn to partition your harddrive and format/reinstall everything yourself. This is easier than changing oil in a car. |

Yes yes... I realize that. It was dumb, but I wasn't getting along with my competent computer friends at the time and I had to have it fixed.

feed your dog some X-laxed chilly, bring him to their store and make him take a shit on the floor in the middle of the said store.
tell them you forgot to bring a bag and a spatula.....oh and don't forget to mention you are very sorry.
If you don't have a dog.....well do it yourself
