Hey guys! Its freezing in North Carolina, and the closest Net access is 25 minutes away. But at least I get to paint Very Happy

Here's my latest doodle - it started as a project assigned by our own Capn Flush(I like to have other people assign me projects). He sent a daytime photo of a flat, dusty city. I was to spruce it up. Instead I ended up redoing the whole thing, and not using the photo. Go figure. The only two photo elements are the two figures, both Miss Heidi Klum. Crits and comments always WELCOME! Some building designs are from real places, some from my imagination.

The only thing that really sticks out at me are the highlights on the Tryst building. They throw me off a bit. Other than that I like your lights, they're very nice!

Pretty nice redo.

My crits are that even though it's night it seems a little dark. I can't quite tell what's in the foreground and some the buildings on the right get lost near the top.

Maybe the foreground could be more 3D and really pop out from the rest.

Just my quick thoughts. Overall, very nice work.

I love the buildings in the backround. They look almost perfectly real. The only thing i dont really like is the highway in the foreground. I think it could use a little more detail...but i think its great even if you dont touch it.

I dont know why more people havent relpied.. but I think that your concept of future city is cool. I love that building on the left with the diagonal part to it.. very cool. Smile

I think its a little flat tho.. as if it were sort of a cardboard cutout behind this highway.. I think it needs some closer and farther buildings.. to give the feeling of depth.
