this is my first time posting some pictures here criticize away please!!

please dont mind the subject matter haha, im pretty sure i have many errors in color, values, and whatnot. and i still have lots to learn so any comments would really be appreciated, thanks! any digital painting techniques would help also.

i did both in a span of 3 days so they are pretty much done in the same way..

[Basement bound]

Quick crit.
Here you drew in one style and have coloured on another. Which has been pulled off before by others. There are just some elements of each that are fighting for dominace in the picture. It is kinda like drawing half in pencil and half in pen. The first image is cute but could use some work the face is not agreeing with the rest. The white fluff on the cuffs is nice but distracting. The body if fairly well done.

The second image shows a huge amont of potential. The painting of the body and background are supurb. So good that I think the Magna head is holding this image back. I hope you see what I mean by looking at my croped version
