Just got back from a 3 week roadtrip that went from Minnesota to Vancouver Canada down to California and then back. Took a few pics on the way. (like 100 or so) I grabbed a few and got some webspace to put them up. I might add more later.
This is on the way there on the Columbia river. Very beautiful place, (except for the underwear I found covered in feces!)
This is outside the Vancouver art museum. I was somewhat unimpressed with it. You can see what the exhibits were on the posters. (khalo, o'keiffe, carr) we had to pay and 2 of the floors were closed but whatever.
This is behind the gallery-
Just a pic in downtown Vancouver-
and here is one of an area just north of vancouver on the way to Whistler- (I like rust a lot)
ok dunno what the pic limit is but I will just reply with a couple more. |

This was also just a bit north of vancouver-
This is a pic of me (sorry I had to throw one in =/ ) This is in Oregon on another lengthy rest stop-
And this is in Eureka California, Quite a few neat victorian houses there-
and one last one for now- Some sand dunes in California that were fun to play in -
sorry bout the large load times I hope my new host is fast
all and all it was a fun trip except on the way back where we were all in a car for 50 hours straight. That got very nasty very fast.
Look for some sketches me and my friend did while were were there- coming to finished works soon!

Oh sure, a wee bit of canada eh ? Is it just me or is everyone a little racist towards canadians? Sure, we may be igloo dwelling, dog sled riding, poutine eating eskimos who pronounce "pop" as "pap", or call it a soda, but did we do ?!?!? (maybe the question really is WHAT did we do? We do nothing don't we?). Well boohooo. I love being Canadian.
(this was just a joke by the way, for you people who don't get canadian humour [that's humour with a U in it!]) Fun times I say, Fun times. Better log off quick, my bicycle powered computer is running out of power since im getting tired of riding it to generate power, and I think i hear my nextdoor neighbour's (once again, with a U in it) pet polar bear scrounging for food. Better go shoo it away. |
