Well, it's really smooth and well defined. But it looks a bit like you used many gradients and vector drawing.
It isn't a bad way of working, but I think this way you don't get a realistic look. The light is a bit off. The head's shadow indicates light from right, but there are some parts with bright light in his left side.
The shadow in the ground doesn't fit with the dog and the background is undefined.
Also colors vary from green to orange a bit randomly.
