A couple of people couldn't view it at eatpoo, so I put it on my website as well (and fixed up my grammar a little, too).

http://www.gorblimey.com/tutorials/6.html

Does anyone else feel like a complete dork using proper English on the Internet? I find that whenever I post on forums, I consciously put in a few mistakes so I won't sound like some stuck-up prick.... I also avoid "long" words, or words I think might sound pretentious.

Man, I'm such a hoser!

This post was about the tutorial, not about my weird self-conscious forum posting habits! Yeesh!

Nice Tutorial. Thanks!

Re: Forum English. If dumbing down one's post were the key to popularity and acceptance, then Flat would be king! Think on that. (just imagine an emoticon here, okay? I can't bear to insert one)

BTW, you used to be from Vancouver, yes? How are you liking Sweden? Is the rain there any different?

I'm glad to find this link. I will eagerly take any information you are willing to give. Wonderfully original art. You make rats cute and cuddly. But tell me, could the same be done for midgets?

Very nice tutorial. I think using proper grammar is simple the prerogative of the individual - I can't imagine anyone being offended by it. Couple that with the fact that many of the biggest geeks out there use internet slang. Very Happy

B0b - Software? Actually, I paid for absolutely every piece of software I own. I only have Kazaa because all my CD's got stolen during my move to Sweden, and I am consequently musicless.
