My friend is going on his mission, and I thought I would make him a little picture as a going away present
ps. Any LDS here have pics of their name tags? It is the only thing I have yet to finish.

Those guys always tend to talk to me, you know. You might suspect the chances of stumbling over a guy from Utah in Germany trying to convince you to board teh Noah's ark his sect is providing are pretty slim.
But NOOOOOOO, as soon as I'm checking out da hood those tie wearing blessifiers go for me like a pack of bloodhounds for a rabbit thrown into the kennel by kids who're way too curious and waaaaay too sadistic.
Last time I've been talking to one of 'em (I'm too polite so send 'em just away) I made use of my superior rhetorical $killz and tried to convince him of the absurdness of his mission. Those $killz and teh fact we're talking in my mother-tongue got him into serious trouble, you know. He stopped following my line of argument when I came to the conclusion god was not an omnipotent entity but more likely a way to describe "this, that, and everything else". (The funney was strong!!1)
Back to the topic. Well, the symmetry seems to be off in your pic. Look at his eyes. His ears. The lips. His right eye seems to be bigger than his left eye. His right eyebrow seems to be longer than his left eyebrow. You know, that just ain't right in this perspective, a front shot without any freaky angles. Other than that a crispy Ben Affleck clone you got there. |

I thought Mormon is a fairly new religion made up by some dude in America.
He wanted a picese of Jesuse's cake.. hhah! All the cake belongs to Jesus.. or maybe to Mohammed too
Wait wait.. you're friend is on a mission?! OMG KILL HIM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!! :0

Yeah..
I married a mormon too. (Well she was back then) They are still stalking us.
They can be cool though. Like when you are stuck in a bordertown between Romania and Hungary and NEED someone that can communicate with the trainpeople.
As far as the picture goes. I think he's a bit too rugged looking for a missionary. He's too manly in a cigarette commercial kind of way. Mormons are more smooth like in a zitcream commercial.
I hope that helps. |

Wow... so many replies for such an ugly post
Flat-- you're loosing your edge, you are starting to give actual crits. (thanks)
Edraket-- Too true, and good point, but I think it is a bit late to make him all smooth.
EBoy-- Thanks! I am currently working on that eye as well as his ear.
Pickman, Hoodz, Shizo-- You guys manke me laugh . Looks like I created a mormon bashing thread by accident. |

We are from the Sacramento area. Since you served a mission, would you happen to have your nametag around? I'm trying desperatly to find a close-up shot of one of the elder tags. I suppose I could just get a pic by going to an lds church, but I would feel terrible going just for an art ref. |
