I know angelfire blows, only way to see it as far as I know is to copy paste the url. Any way, trying to work on larger scale images now. Is hard. I think it needs more contrast too. The most important thing is, I'm trying to tell a story in an image, any luck? Please give me your opinions, totaly from my head no references used. Er, can't think of anything else to say. |

well,
-as you said it needs contrast.
-all the trees look the same, there should be some bare trees with all the green burned off. and smaller trees etc.
-the anatomy of the knight guy is off.
However, I really like that it does tell a neat story.
the story I get out of it is this:
Long ago, after the time of the dragons, settlers built a castle under the remains of a long dead dragon, whos bones loomed over the highest castle tower. But the area was in dispute and the settlers had enemies.
This picture tells teh story of the defeat of the castle and the surviving knight leaving in remorse for the loss of his beautiful home.
well thats what I get out of it anyways..
I could be totally wrong.

I think it's a nice drawing, (I love the mood of this drawing) but it's too flat... |

Yeah, all of my work is flat. The sotry must work though, I know the anatomy was off, but I';m a bit of a cartoonist and never have been real big on it, his step is bad, and the trees do look bad. In any event, thanks loads Awetopsy, Swarm. ) |
