The background is ok. The frame and the actual painting are great. The frame is incredible.

But the texture on the painting is completely over done. You really need to change this or get rid of it.

Your frame looks better than man, but I still think my collaboration might provide you with some details you may or may not have thought of. Flare is a big image, but check it out. You might find some inspiration in my image or think of something we missed.

Also notice the texture on the painting in my image. Personally I think I got this much better than you did, but your frame still owns me.

Poor children... *sob* good one, Houk. I agree with Cheney though, the overlaid texture (is it rain?) seems distracting.

My personal experience is that an overlaid computer generated texture seldom lives up to my expectations - not Cheney's either, I think. It's too uniform, there's a lack of randomness that shows, and the grittiness is not communicating with the rest of the image - because it wasn't there during the creation.

The motif is great though, it's a good job all in all.
