Wow!! Thank you so much! I've been using the noise and motion blur filters to make wood textures, but this works much better!

I really think you should. I'd certainly pick up a copy.
Something like, "Achieving Photorealism With Photoshop" or something along those lines. You mix the perfect amount of computer technicalities with artistic techniques. A book of tutorials would be perfect.
I have no idea how involved something like that is; I'm really just speaking outta my ass. I'm sure it must be pretty costly and rather difficult to get published. |
