I'll try to get some nature pics up soon. I wish I had taken more before the snow started to melt.

4th avenue
Cool building
Alaska Mint - whatever the hell that is...
In case you were wondering, yes, the sky is like that 99% of the time. Beautiful, isn't it?

I miss Anchorage. I used to live in Eagle River, so these photos make me homesick.

The first and last three photos are notably impressive.
I would rue living there, however. I don't have enough flannel or overalls, and I think you may be the only person there with an internet connection. |

Impaler - Actually, Anchorage isn't too bad. I think -15 is about the lowest it gets. Before Anchorage, I lived in Fairbanks for 5 years where it gets down to -65. Although, I've heard from friends that winter has been getting milder each year (global warming?).
Pat - I live in Eagle River! Mile 6 up Hiland Road to be exact. |

Weird. It's such a small world. I lived on Eagle River Rd, just past Hillcrest. You didn't happen to go to Chugiak, did you?

Dispite the cold (whichI probably couldn't deal with too well) I've always wanted to visit Alaska. Seems like a very beautiful place. The black and white photos came out really nice. I'd be very interested in seeing what nature pics you have from there. |
