I'm definitely a fan of your style Cos.. wonderful rendering (where you actually did shade, at least )
I'm really drawn to the sketch of the woman with the hat covering her eyes.
Are you doing sketches like these every day or do you just wait for a some to pile up and then post them? |

Very nice stuff, is there a name for this sort of sketching style or any books that describe this way. It looks like you didnt sketch out primitive shapes and work up.

Wow Cos..
Honestly, you've improved so much that I'd have a very hard time believing it if I hadn't witnessed it myself. Seriously man, you are kicking a lot of ass these days.
The second is my favorite. You absolutely NAILED the foreshortening. Awesome. |

Cos, the improvements are large man.
ALL pics are damn sweet, some aspects are damn amazing!(hehe )..eg hands on the 4th pic are so mint.
Getting some real nice depth to alot of your work now.
Ref's for any male anantomy?
Score a book for female amatomy yet?(where'd you get ref's for females here?)

Thanks for the comments everyone
The pencils are nothing special, just a couple of 3b's (one blunt, and one sharp for detailing). Top ones a biro sketch, and sixth down is partially inked btw, forgot to mention that.
Also, shoulda mentioned the reference stuff. Girl in the hat, and the high rendered back under it are studies from magazines. Last page an anatomy book study.
Manik - Actually I have been going through quite alot of stuff lately, tho alot is stuff I wouldn't really show. I might post another bunch on this thread from the reject pile in a bit. (btw, I liked the work on your site).
Phire - Not sure what you mean, I just sketch how it feels natural for me. Sometimes build up lightly on elipses, triangles, etc and get darker as I work it, sometimes I build up the construction with more angular lines, just depends..
Lukias - nah didn't get my hands on a new book yet, probably soon (yah I know I've been saying that for ages heh). Hows the copy excersises going with the 'The Nude Figure' book you got recently?
Get that one copied up and finished for roundeyes pinup contest yet? You said u started it a week or so ago?? |

Crazy amounts of detail on these last pics too man. Impressive as per.
Nope, I've been slack as per and only sketched 5 or so times in the last 6 weeks. 1 of those is the sketch for the comp. Its Nearly done, will send it to ya in few hours. |

cheers for the comments again, was gonna post another bunch but probably posted too many as it is.
Lukias - crazy detail always an option when the drawings not flowing heh, bad habit I have when I should let something go.
Manik - well it was meant to be a tiger, teach me for not using any reference hehe. Wolf would be better tho I reckon. |
