k. so the girl's not hiphop. i can live with that. i think the guy is, though i'm sure someone will disagree with me. no matter what, they're obviously pirates, and i've begun to think i want a tattoo like the dude has. here ya go, and a closeup of the tat.
buffer image. just ignore.
what are your thoughts? likes? dislikes? can always use some feedback, as i'm planning on making some tshirts eventually with these "characters". |

These are both great...I prefer the second one though, poses like that look so awesome when they're pulled off this well. Only problems are that its a bit too dark, and the back hand looks a little out of place (though I can't think why)... |

Very nice. Reminds me of Jet Grind Radio also. Differnt style though. Almost looks vector based. Would be ineteresting to see something like this in Freehand or Illustrator. May be imported into flash and animated? That could be interesting also. Just an idea, If you ever do animate your charactors, it make sure you post it, I would like to see the results. |

good job.
IMHO the second one doesn't look like all his weight is on his arms/fingers.
I think that would be an important thing to show.He also looks a little bit out of balance because of this. |

here's an update to the dude. lightened up the picture a bit. not too much. i actually did want it to be all around darker than the other image, to give it a harder edge... or something.
silb. he IS off balance, as hes is just at the point where weight is being released off his hands and he is about to roll onto his back. breakdancing is crazy precariousness.
