Well, This is my first posting at this great artist's forum.
It's a D&D's Mind flayer (a octopus creature that has got psionic powers, wooow I'm scared ! ehehe)
Please, tell me what you think. Any c/c is VERY VERY welcome.

This is gonna seem pretty harsh - so i'll soften it up first;
- you've got a nice octopus there - i dig the texture on it.
BUT
to be really anal about this - a D&D Mind Flayer has several major characteristics that you've missed out...
1: Mind Flayers have a bipedal, humanoid body
2: Their skin colour is - and i quote - 'a nauseous mauve,its tentacles being purplish-black'
3: The eyes should be a dead white with no evident pupil.
a bit of selective colour changing will sort most of this out.
[edit](tho' this IS an old description - WotC might have changed this - if so - i apologize)

It was a visual ref (actually a monster drawing)
well, I could say it's a first try.
I think I'd get better results on the pic if the topic was: Octopus monster |

Thanks for the c/c.
1) I've done just the head.
2) ok, The eyes should be white.
3) I've based my reference on page 136 of D&D monsters manual (third edition), and the colours, although changed a little, I think (with the exception of the redish on the tips of the tentacles) is just alike.
Thanks, I've not read the description, just seen the picture, didn't even noticed that it's only FOUR tentacles...
sorry... should have given attention to it.
Well, forgetting those fine adjustments(ehhe), what do you think about the Art ?
