well. i think i'll scratch matte artist off my list of options. i seriously can't be buggered putting detail in.

this piece is a bit crap because i didn't plan it at all. but it's different from my usual stuff, hopefully i'll get better at backgrounds. it's not supposed to be ultra realistic. c&c welcome.

I really like the atmosphere in this piece.
bot no, it defenetly doesnt look like a matte piece.

Hey Ken, I don't think you should dismiss matte painting so quickly. I really like the pic, my only suggestion is that I think it would look cool if you added some fog in the foreground to add to that "mystical forest" feeling. Nice stuff.
