Hi, guys, this is the first time I'm posting anything. Please tell me what do you think.
This is done on paper, scanned in and then shaded with a 4x5 tablet in Photoshop.
I'm just getting acquainted with the tablet and not yet very comfortable with it.
Thank you for checking it out.

pretty good shading for a newbie tablet user, I gotta say it though... the face reminds me of the alien near the end from alien 4: resurrection. |

The lightsource doesn't seem to be consistant throughout the picture.
The picture doesn't seem to have a main element. It's all just about as light/dark as everything else.
All the materials are represented with the same reflectiveness, texture and shadow
Using different values and a better placed (and constant!) lightsources will make the picture seem "deeper".
I disliked that alien from the end of the movie - It didn't look half as cool as the eyeless, noseless, black and exo-skeletal ones.
(edit): changed a word to better express my thoughts.
