Sergei Prokudin-Gorskiy built a color camera (RGB) and took off to take photos of many diverse places in Russia, the project was supported by Czar Nicholas II.
AMAZING!!!!
LOOK. The photos are so excellent. I wish i could go back in time.

I saw this website a while ago, and I thought it was quite incredible too! I wonder why no one else is using this method for ALL the essential b/w photos of human history? |

Yah.. because nobody seems interested except a few people. How awfull..
Anyway if there is more of his photos, ill look for them! |
