If this is your crap, then please, jezebel, don't stop crapping.
It's a kind of Venus in furs.
Nice atmosphere of a cold evening, branches in front of the moon...
And I like how the face lights itself. |

"whats that noise?" a darker version of red hiding hood? you could make a serie of that..imagine the wolf as a dealer(her hairy boyfriend), her family and the police man(the hunter).take central park and sunroundings for scenario.
i dont know how, but you're getting better'n'better.(only some tiny miss proportions that you must look at) |

Jezebel,
This is phenomenal. There is so much personality and warmth in this, it's got life.
How long did this one take you to do, including concept time and painting time? Do you use a reference?

Pretty nice! One small crit - I think you could make the coat collar a little more distinct - add an edge somewhere. I thought she was submerged in water or something at first.
Nice work, very polished. |

Im curious, are you using a photograph for reference on this? If your doing it from scratch, do you have any tips on drawing heads from scratch?
I like it alot, the nose is so nice. |

Eee! That is so sweet! Very, very adorable.
You've REALLY improved a LOT as of late. All 'the greats' are always saying that the only way to really get better is to practice, but it is nice to see it actually happen before your eyes.
You've really matured as an artist both in your subject matter, and the techniques you employ. I especially like your colour choices in this piece, and the fluff!
Great job. |

Wheee... thanks again for all the feedback everyone. I'm about to start another picture so I'm just going to hit upon a few specific comments
Muraii - This took me about an hour and a half. And yes I used a reference, I took a picture of myself that I used. But I changed up some features so it wouldn't look quite like me.
Francis - Ahhh... the most common complaint. *grin* That's something I definitely plan on fixing. Thanks.
jr - Nopes, this is done in Photoshop
Briareos - Yes, I used a picture of myself for reference as I mentioned above. I'm terrible at drawing heads from scratch
And to everyone that left the nice compliments - Thank you, thank you, thank you! |

Aha! My PC is working again...
Jez, this is fantastic! Try playing around with some profile portraits as well, as I think it can help with understanding the 3D aspect of the face when drawing from imagination.
Lovely work!
