How's the site working on Macintosh and on Linux? and what do you think about the look, navigation and size of the site? |

howdy, im in uni at the minute and tested your site on IE 5.5 and Netscape Communicator 4.75, PC, 800*600 (i think)
IE is fine, site runs well, everything works
Communicator on the other hand is pretty fecked up, when you click on each of the main sections, the images that are meant to appear to the right of the navigation end up below the whole nav bar. i think its something to to with the way Netscape handles tables, you have to be very exact.
but who uses netscape anyway!?
anyway, your work is pretty damm stunning! |

@___@ Awesome work... *ogles* I'm using IE and it works just fine. Something tells me that the bg should be a bit more 3d like, though? It seems a bit too flat but in general the look is okay |

I'm on a mac right now and the only thing I see is that the nav bar isn't flush with the main part, but you might want it that way. |

Very nice work! I particularly like the "Archangel" and "Dead Sovereign" pieces. I also think the montage approach on the freelance page is very effective.
Regarding the site design.. i'm getting a minor offset of about 2-3 pixels between the nav bar and the image pages (using IE 5 on Mac OS 9). Also there are tiny lines above and below the navbar which don't look intentional. Other than those things.. the site looks good. Easy to navigate.

Hey, Michael, thanks for your compliments! Visit the site again, it should be fine now.
Thanks Nathan! The original isn't much bigger than the version on the site... the size 457x700 and it has one layer. |

Very nice. Both site and artwork.
I wish I could see more of your new paintings... I still keep some Bg's stuff from old days (GFXArtist etc.) . Btw, that reaper looks like a dude from Diablo cutscenes. Anyway cool stuff Bg, keep painting.
luck

Works like a charm under Netscape 6.2, just thought you should know!
Very much like the Archange and Gandalf! Keep up the great work!

Artwork is great. Website layout is great. The buttons on the Menu look incredibly ugly to me, only thing I don't like. |

Here you can find brand-new Gandalf animation. (fog, storm, rain and some other stuff is still missing)
Vardelith: Thanks for the kind words and I'm also very pleased to hear that the site works in Netscape 6.2!
Laslauk, glad you like it!
bld, I wasn't very happy how the buttons turned out either (also one of my friends said he didn't like'em), I'll see if I can do something about it.. Thanks for pointing that out!

Anyone else encountered the same problem (the site doesn't load)? Catnip, can you see this image?
If you can't see the above pic, try this address, does this work?: www.mbnet.fi
I'll put the site up on other server (http://badgers.dreamsave.com) if this doesn't work on everybody.. |
