this is an old design for a comic cov i did for a school project, this was before i knew how to work photoshop, I sort of ripped off the idea from marvel, the hero dude kinda looks like captain america, a bit. Those were they days of the bevel and emboss.

Pretty nifty.

The character art on cover is much better than the first page.

You have a good sense of lighting on a few panels on your page, but try some interesting camera angles, all you have is portraits, face on or 3/4 views.

Lookup a book called "How to draw comic the Marvel way"

Its quite abit outdated, but still very usefull, also gives some pointers on inking.

Thanks BLD, it just so happens that i have that book, and yes, it's very out dated, these pieces acually got me into uni, can you believe it!
