Hey all, I've made some of the recommended changes to the painting. There is now a background of sorts, and the shading of the critter has been refined so that it isn't quite so flat.

I didn't see the first incarnation of this, but I like this one anyway
The colour, skin texture, hands and faces are especially nice.
His left foot looks a little small to me, even if it is further back... |
